For almost a hundred years, Kyiv has been cut off from the Dnieper River by a wide highway, and Podil, the heart of the city, has no access to the water. There are no convenient promenades for walking and taking sports; there are no private beaches and boat stations ...
Our goal is to change this state of affairs by returning the Dnieper River to Kyiv. Thanks to the well-thought-out revitalization of the abandoned industrial zone, a new progressive district will appear on the banks of the Dnieper River. The district, being an organic part of the old Podil, is directed towards the future.
This is a NEW PODIL. Being open to all, it carries a unique variety of opportunities for life, work and leisure by the water. Its main place of power is a convenient and accessible promenade, which will serve all Kyivans.
We believe that revival of Podil and Kyiv in general is possible only through establishment of harmony between the city and the Dnieper River; and this process begins precisely here, in the NEW PODIL.
